Some Physical Attributes of Loggerhead Sea Turtles

Nesting and Mating
These turtles normally reach their sexual peak at age thirty-five. The matting season started between March and June – usually for the one found in the SE regions of the United States – and they begin to nest somewhere between April and September.

Although they are not yet an endangered species, these threats have caused their numbers to go down, particularly in the regions of the Bahamas, Mexico, Colombia, Israel, Turkey, Japan and Greece.
