Only because you are dealing with a disability does not indicate you could’t have a canine in your life.  Studies specify doing so would benefit you and the dog.  There are a few things you can do to make the experience easier.
If you require support supply your canine medicine, fluids, or shots, ask your veterinarian when he or she knows of any person who would make home visits. When not, make contact with local pet-sitters to find ones who will assist you. Many pet-sitters are trained to perform these functions for the sick pet for owners who cannot perform them for themselves or for owners while they are away.

To fun with your dog, use flashlights or laser pointers. Dogs like chasing the light, & you won’t have to make a move.  An option is a remote handle car for him to chase.  He gets exercise and you do not accomplish over-exhausted.
When you’ve difficulty performing prime functions for yourself, explore the purpose of a service or help dog. Aid dogs are trained to assistance people by physical boundaries perform their everyday functions. Aid dogs are accepted in public places just as guide dogs & hearing dogs are.

Divide large bags of food into smaller containers to assistance through lifting and filling dishes.  If you reach large dishes, you will expend fewer event and energy filling them. There are dog food stands that increase the bowls above floor  so you won’t have to bend as lots of while you fill them.
Walking a dog while you’re disabled could be difficult.  Consider hiring a neighborhood teen to do this or have a pet sitter come in & walk your canine each day.  Fenced-in yards are an extra option to consider.
