What’s the best house-pet, excluding cats and dogs?

house pet
Vikki asked:

I’d like to know everyone’s opinion on what the very best house-pet would be (excluding cats and dogs). I’m also wondering if there’s something that’s pretty much odorless, doesn’t require much clean up, but is playful and smart, interactive and not very noisy.

I would recommend a cockatiel. They don’t require much clean-up and they are very playful, smart and interactive. Plus they don’t make a lot of noise. It’s perfect for what you’re looking for.

mmm… plaful: u could get a rat, hamster or mice, they are quite not very odorless… needs cleaning 1 time a week….
i think theyy are the best if u exclude cat and dog

    fish,
They don’t annoy you or make heaps of noises. They come in many types and colors

Rats or rodents can make good pets…… however the odor issue comes into play if you don’t keep their house cleaned regularly…… but only like once a week…… but rats especially can be very playful and love to interact with their human partners, and bonus = no noise!!!

Well personal i think the best house pet is ferrets. they are great pets but need a lot of attention… but they are not odorless and require a lot of clean up… very smart and interactive..but they can be noisy

if you aren’t creaped out by snakes i would get a calafornia king snake. they are constictors so they won’t bite. but if they creep you out get a chinchilla they are cute but are kind of high maintenence. snakes on the other hand are exstremely low maintainence

I think rats are awesome pets. It sounds creepy, but their super sweet, and smart, and low matenence. (oops on the spelling.)

    Rabbits.

They can be litter trained. Are very loveable and funny to watch and play with.

I have two and they love to snuggle up beside me and watch TV. They also love hopping around the living room. Just make sure that you get cable tidies (to wrap around cables ) tp stop bunny nibbling them!
