Rabbits.

They can be litter trained. Are very loveable and funny to watch and play with.

I have two and they love to snuggle up beside me and watch TV. They also love hopping around the living room. Just make sure that you get cable tidies (to wrap around cables ) tp stop bunny nibbling them!

if you aren't creaped out by snakes i would get a calafornia king snake. they are constictors so they won't bite. but if they creep you out get a chinchilla they are cute but are kind of high maintenence. snakes on the other hand are exstremely low maintainence

Rats or rodents can make good pets...... however the odor issue comes into play if you don't keep their house cleaned regularly...... but only like once a week...... but rats especially can be very playful and love to interact with their human partners, and bonus = no noise!!!

I would recommend a cockatiel. They don't require much clean-up and they are very playful, smart and interactive. Plus they don't make a lot of noise. It's perfect for what you're looking for.
